How to fix Minecraft not working, not installing or crashing on Android devices

 You can play Minecraft on your Android smartphone and it is really a pleasure for many people because it has great gameplay, with amazing background music.

However, sometimes the Minecraft app keeps crashing or won't open, especially after a new update.

Here are 3 ways to fix Minecraft not working/installing or keeps crashing on Android:

Solution 1: Clear Minecraft cache and data:

  1. On your Android device, go to Settings.
  2. Tap Apps > All apps.
  3. Scroll down to Minecraft.

  4. Press it. 
  5. Tap Force stop. 
  6. Now tap on Storage & cache. 
  7. Finally, clear the cache, and then clear the storage.

 Solution 2: Clear package installer cache & data

  1. On your Android device, go to Settings. 
  2. Tap Apps > All apps. 
  3. In the upper right corner, tap the 3 vertical dots and select show system. 
  4. Scroll down to Package Installer. 
  5. Press it. 
  6. Tap Force stop. 
  7. Now tap on Storage & cache. 
  8. Clear the cache, then clear the storage(data).
 

Solution 3: Reinstall Minecraft.

  • On your Android device, go to Settings.
  • Press Apps (or Applications) > All apps. 
  • Scroll down to Minecraft then tap it. 
  • Tap Uninstall. 
  • Reboot your device. 
  • Install Minecraft game.
 

Solution 4 : Check your device's storage

Ensure that your device has enough free storage space to install Minecraft. 

You can check this by going to your device's Settings, then to Storage.
