Your Starlink kit comes pre-connected with everything you need to access the internet.
Here are Starlink setup & installation instructions :
1) Install location:
If your Starlink is obstructed, consider an alternate location with clear view of the sky or consider an elevated installation as the height improves the chances of climbing over nearby obstacles.
Use the Starlink app (iOS, Android)
to check for obstructions and find the installation location that will provide
the best service.
- The starlink app is useful to “Check for Obstructions” (or "Visibility" if you are connected to Starlink), to setup your hardware, verify your Wi-Fi connection, access connectivity statistics, troubleshoot connectivity issues and receive alerts.
If you consider installing it on an elevated location, you may use additional mounts and accessories to complete Starlink dish installation:
Starlink Circular:
Ground Pole mount |
Pipe adapter mount |
Pivot mount |
Starlink long wall mount |
Short wall mount |
See this if you want to mount Starlink dish correctly with roof mount options, pole mount, volcano mount, flashing mount, etc.
2) Plug in Starlink:
Next step on Starlink install process is to put it in the base and connect the power.
Starlink will automatically level itself to search for satellites.
Do NOT attempt to manually tune your Starlink.
Starlink will establish an initial connection with the Starlink constellation and tilt to the optimum angle for satellite coverage.
3) Connect to Wi-Fi:
The last installation instruction on the Starlink set up process is to connect to STARLINK WiFi
network on your device:
You’lle be prompted to enter new SSID (network name) and password.
Now, you’re connected and the Starlink setup is completed successfully ! If not, then see
potential troubleshooting tips below on the related post section, you'll find solutions to Starlink no Internet or disconnected or not connecting/working.
